At FloorFix Pro, we understand that every floor is unique, which is why we offer a range of specialized solutions to fix squeaky floors. Our easy-to-follow guide will help you choose the product that's best suited for your floor type.

If you have a floating floor with grooves, including Click System and Tongue & Groove, our Squeaky Floor Treatment Kit is the perfect place to start. This kit includes both Click Lube and Groove Gasket, allowing you to try both products to see which one permanently eliminates the squeak. Once you've determined which product works best, you can purchase larger sizes to treat the entire floor.

For floating floors without grooves or bonded click systems, we recommend our Floor-Fix Pro adhesive. Simply drill a 2mm hole in the problem area, inject the adhesive, apply weight to the floor, and wait 24 hours for a permanent fix.

Our products are compatible with a wide range of floor types, including engineered wood, laminate, hardwood and Bamboo.

At Floor-Fix Pro  we understand that it can be confusing to understand the differences between click system and tongue & groove floors. Click system floors have a locking mechanism on the edges, which makes them easy to install and remove. On the other hand, tongue & groove floors have interlocking edges that require glue to connect.

If you're not sure which type of floor you have, don't worry - our Squeaky Floor Treatment can fix both as long as the floor has grooves.

Click Lube and Groove Gasket may seem similar, but they are designed to work in different ways. Click Lube lubricates the interlocking sections of the floor, while Groove Gasket sits at the top of the profile and prevents squeaks from the pinch point between the planks. Your floor may need one or the other, so we recommend trying both products by starting with the Squeaky Floor Treatment.

Our products are safe and non-toxic, free of harmful chemicals, and non-flammable. If you've used our Squeaky Floor Treatment and the creaking persists, it could be due to one of three reasons: your floor isn't a floating floor with grooves, your subfloor is creaking, or you didn't follow the instructions.

While some people may suggest using WD-40 to fix squeaky floors, we strongly advise against it. Not only is WD-40 not effective for fixing floors, but it can also be dangerous and potentially flammable. Our products are designed specifically for fixing squeaky floors safely and permanently.

The longevity of the fix will depend on the type of floor and the reason for the creaking. Most customers find that one treatment is enough, and they don't need to re-treat their floors for many years.

Our products are not suitable for fixing creaky stairs. While we strive to make products that fix the majority of creaky floor problems, we cannot guarantee that they will work in every case.
